After a delicious breakfast we head out on our Full Day Tour of the Cape Peninsula. We travel through the small coastal towns of Muizenberg, Kalk Bay, Fish Hoek and Simons Town home of the Penguins at Boulders Beach. We then head towards Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope to take in the breathtaking scenery of this rugged coastline. On our loop back we travel along the picturesque Chapmans Peak Drive towards Hout Bay. We end the day with visits to Camps Bay and Clifton Beaches where spectacular sunsets are often the perfect end to an amazing day. 

After check out from your Cape Town accommodation we head along Clarence Drive enjoying the awe-inspiring scenery of this coastal road towards Hermanus. After several scenic stops along the way we arrive in Hermanus with time to browse around the various arts and craft shops before settling down for a delicious lunch (own account) at one of the cliffside restaurants.

Before heading to your accommodation there will be opportunity to take in the scenery of the cliff walks situated along the water's edge. During Whale Season (July - November) you might have the privilege to encounter the Southern Right Whales up close along the shore. An option to include a whale watching boat trip will be available during this period, to have the chance to get up close to these magnificent creatures.

Leaving Hermanus behind we head along the coast to the town of Gansbaai in order to visit the spectacular Klipgat Caves before heading to Cape Agulhas known as the Southern Tip of Africa. From here we head inland through Swellendam towards our next stop in the beautiful sea side village of Wilderness.

After check in at your Luxury Beachfront Guesthouse there will be time to settle down, relax and enjoy the sunset over the ocean. A typical South African Braai (BBQ) will be prepared for your evening dinner accompanied by a chilled bottle of local wine to end a long day travelling.

Following a relaxed morning breakfast, we have a late morning start to the day at around 10am with visits to various scenic stops heading towards the town of Knysna. After a light lunch (own account), we will embark on a tour around the town visiting points of interest such as the Knysna Heads before enjoying a gin or beer tasting at the local Knysna Distillery.

A Catamaran sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon will be a fitting end to your day after which dinner (own account) will be had at the Waterfront. After dinner we head back to the accommodation in Wilderness.

Day 6 starts with a drive towards Plettenberg Bay and the World Heritage site of the Robberg Peninsula, known for its prehistoric rock formations and protected marine area. Here you will embark on a short circular hike to enjoy the natural beauty of the peninsula. After the approximately 1 hour hike, we head through the town to Mungo Mill at Old Nick Village to browse the various artisinal shops offering locally made crafts. 

Enricos Restaurante in Keurboomstrand, well known for their great food and incredible setting on the beach will be our lunch stop (own account) for today. The beautiful setting offers a great opportunity for a fabulous walk on the beach after the delicious lunch. 

We then make our way back towards Wilderness, stopping along the way at the Knysna Elephant Park for a "Meet the Herd" Experience where you will be able to feed and get up close to these gentle giants. This will be the last stop on the days itinerary before heading back to your accommodation in Wilderness.

After check out from your Wilderness accommodation we head inland over the picturesque Outeniqua Pass into the Little Karoo and the town of Oudtshoorn. Here we will be visiting the beautiful limestone formations found within the famous Cango Caves. On our way back an optional visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch is possible for those that are interested (for own account).

After a light lunch (own account) we head to the Safari Ostrich Farm to learn about these strange birds and have the opportunity to browse the onsite shop for all products associated with these birds. A short drive will take us to Welgeluk Feather Palace, an Edwardian Sandstone Manor. This period masterpiece of the Ostrich Empire of the early 20th century will be your accommodation for the night.

We start your last day with an early wake up and head off for a sunrise visit to the Meerkat Adventure to enjoy these curious little creatures in their natural environment. We then head back to your accommodation to enjoy breakfast after which we head out along the scenic R62 towards Cape Town. We will pass through various small towns such as Barrydale and Montagu before stopping in Robertson for a light lunch (own account) at Ou Meul Bakery.

Continuing the journey towards the Mother City we will make a final stop at Du Toitskloof Tasting Room in Rawsonville for a brief sampling of the wines produced by the surrounding vineyards in the area. From here we head through the Huguenot Tunnel en route to your accommodation in Cape Town or alternatively to Cape Town International Airport.
