You will be met at George Airport by your Driver/Guide who will then start your Garden Route Adventure by driving to the coastal town of  Mossel Bay. Here we will embark on a guided tour, starting with a walk through the Mosaic Tunnel depicting the culture and scenery of the area. This will then lead us to the world famous archeological site at Pinnacle Point better known as the Point of Human Origin. After the moderately strenuous walk to and from the Caves, enjoy a lunch (own account) at the Cliffside Restaurant at Pinnacle Point known for its breathtaking scenery. This will be followed by a visit to the Dias Museum in Mossel Bay depicting the history of this sea side town.

From here we will travel along the coast to the Map of Africa situated high above the beautiful coastal village of Wilderness. After taking in the breathtaking scenery and photo opportunities we will head through to your Beachfront Guesthouse Accommodation which will be your home for the next 3 nights.

You will then be treated to a typical South African "Braai" (BBQ) at the Guesthouse, with a chilled bottle of local wine to end your first exciting day on the Garden Route.

After a delicious breakfast we travel along the Garden Route to meet up with the gentle giants at the Knysna Elephant Park. Here you will have an opportunity to feed and get up close to these amazing animals. This will be followed by a drive through the coastal town of Plettenberg Bay to Old Nick Village where time will be spent browsing through the various artisinal shops as well as a visit to the Mungo Mill which produces beautiful traditional woven fabrics. Enricos in Keurboomstrand will be our Lunch stop (own account) where the location and food are the attractions that make this one of the most popular restaurants throughout the Garden Route.

After enjoying a fabulous lunch we head back to the coastal town of Knysna where we will visit the Knysna Heads and take in the breathtaking scenery of the rugged coastline and the Knysna Estuary. We then drive through the town to Thesen Island to visit the small Aquarium holding the endangered Knysna Seahorses. Time dependent, a quick stroll through the Knysna Waterfront to see local arts and crafts at the various shops is an option. We then depart Knysna to take in Margarets Viewpoint on the way to Sedgefield. Here we will enjoy the various mosaic art pieces throughout the village before heading back to your accommodation in Wilderness.

Wilderness has a good selection of dining options for you to enjoy during your stay. Please note that dinners are for your own account, however transport to/from the restaurant will be provided for.

After a peaceful nights sleep at your beachfront accommodation thanks to the tranquil sounds of waves rolling in, we head over the Outeniqua Pass towards the Little Karoo. Here we will embark on a 1 hour guided tour to be marvelled by the natural wonders and breathtaking beauty of the Cango Caves. From here we travel back through the town of Oudtshoorn to enjoy a light lunch (own account) after which we head to the Safari Ostrich Farm. A 1 hour guided tour will follow including learning all about these strange birds and having the opportunity to feed them as well. Ostrich products such as decorative eggs as well as Ostrich Leather products will be available to purchase from the shop on site.

We then head back over the picturesque Outeniqua pass taking in various viewpoints to enjoy the scenery of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains. We will end the day back in Wilderness for you to relax and enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the Indian Ocean.

We start your last day with an early breakfast and departure at around 8am latest in order to be on time for your 3 hour guided game drive at Botlierskop, starting at 9am. This luxury family-owned and privately-operated game reserve is malaria-free and home to four of the Big 5. Enjoy close encounters with Rhinoceros, Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffe, the rare Black Impala, Golden Wildebeest, Mountain Zebra, Hippos and more!  A delicious lunch (own account) will be enjoyed back at the day visitor centre restaurant overlooking the reserve after the conclusion of your exciting game drive.

Depending on time of departure from George Airport a visit to Herolds Bay, a favourite beach amongst locals can be made on the way back to the airport.
